This is a program that includes the famous Subclass 457 Sponsorship Work Visa but also includes permanent visas for skilled professionals who are being nominated by an employer for a full-time work position in Australia.
Both visas require the applicant to have a job offer from an Australian employer. The Subclass 186 visa allows for employers located anywhere in Australia to nominate workers to apply and be granted this visa, while the Subclass 187 allows only for employers to nominate applicants in positions located in Regional Australia.
Regional Australia has different meaning for different visas so please contact us to discuss the location of your job offer so we can check if it falls under the 187 visa. The 187 visa has requirements that are a bit more flexible for employer and employee, so it is an attractive option for most candidates.
Check if you qualify with an agent experienced in this type of application. At Bravo Migration we have worked on hundreds of applications for ENS & RSMS Visas, and our approval rate is very high.
There are 2 application streams for both visas above:
This stream is for visa applicants who have a Subclass 457 Sponsorship Work Visa and have worked with the same employer for at least 2 years, in the same position.
You must have skills in the same field and if you don’t hold a passport from an English speaking country you will have to take the IELTS language exam.
The business nominating the 457 visa holder for a permanent 186 visa should:
The employer must demonstrate that there is a genuine need for a paid employee to fill that position – it has to make sense within the business and the business’ objectives.
The Visa Applicant must obtain a positive Skills Assessment in the occupation being nominated and show evidence of having at least 3 years of work experience in the same (or very similar) role. If you don’t hold a passport from an English speaking country you will have to take an English language exam.
We are happy to discuss your eligibility, whether you are a business or an individual, as well as the requirements in detail and your circumstances in particular.
You work with a Registered Migration Agent and a dedicated Case Manager, having access to our great infra-structure, years of experience and superior customer service.
